Job Summary
Operate rear-mounted grapple trucks and log loader booms to pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, and remove debris at sites. Use a chainsaw and navigate outdoor environments with uneven terrain, all while maintaining safety protocols. Complete daily paperwork, utilize GPS and electronic logging devices, and perform basic mechanical maintenance such as greasing and hydraulic hose changes. Work long hours including overtime and weekends in various weather conditions. Requires a Class A or B CDL, ability to lift 25–50 pounds, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL
- valid driver's license
- CDL CLASS A or B
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Hold valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
- Verification of your right to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test
- 100% Travel
- Monday - Friday schedule
