Job Summary
Operate rear-mounted grapple trucks and log loaders to pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, and remove debris at outdoor utility sites. Use a chainsaw for site work while performing basic mechanical repairs like greasing, lube, and hydraulic hose changes. Complete daily paperwork and utilize smartphones, GPS, and electronic logging devices. Maintain safety standards and pass drug tests. Work Monday through Friday daytime hours with 100% travel, overtime, and weekend availability in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL
- valid driver's license
- CDL CLASS A or B
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
- Verification of your right to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test
- 100% Travel
- Monday - Friday schedule
