Job Summary
Operate a rear-mounted grapple truck to pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, remove debris, and use a chainsaw in a fast-paced outdoor environment. Perform daily safety walk-around inspections, make small mechanical repairs like changing hydraulic hoses, and fill out daily paperwork while using a smartphone, GPS, and Electronic Logging Device. Work long hours, overtime, and possible weekends in all weather conditions. Maintain a valid Class A or B CDL and lift up to 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL
- valid driver's license
- CDL CLASS A or B
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Hold valid driver's license
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
- Verification of your right to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test
- 100% Travel
- Monday - Friday schedule
