Job Summary
Pick up powerline poles, load trucks or rail cars, and remove debris using a rear-mounted grapple or log loader boom. Operate chainsaws and perform basic mechanical repairs like changing hydraulic hoses or greasing equipment. Complete daily paperwork and utilize smartphones, GPS, and electronic logging devices while adhering to all safety protocols. Work long hours, overtime, and weekends in various weather conditions across outdoor sites. Valid Class A or B CDL and ability to lift 25 to 50 pounds required.
Required Qualifications
- hands-on experience operating a knuckle boom, log loader, or grapple
- Class A or B CDL
- valid driver's license
- CDL CLASS A or B
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds
- Basic mechanical knowledge in order to make small repairs (change hydraulic hose, grease and lube, safety walk around inspection)
- Able to pass pre-employment drug test and random drug tests after hiring
- Able to learn the basic use of a smartphone
- Verification of your right to work in the United States
- Satisfactory completion of a background investigation
- Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test
- 100% Travel
- Monday - Friday schedule
