Job Summary
Order and coordinate all graphic elements for air, overseeing their airing in the control room during live programs. Work closely with producers to research, select, and locate required footage for broadcast, while assisting in compiling research for anchors and fact-checking scripts. Manage content creation for digital platforms, social media, and MS NOW's direct-to-consumer products. This role requires working in New York, NY, with flexible hours under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news coverage. Candidates must have unrestricted work authorization and at least one year of news production experience. Knowledge of politics, history, and current events is essential, with preferred familiarity with Avid, MediaCentral, Viz, and iNews.
Required Qualifications
- At least one year of news production experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Must be willing to work in New York, NY
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
- Must be willing and able to work flexible hours, under tight deadline pressure, including breaking news
