Job Summary
Provide design and layout support, text processing, page mark-up, graphic scanning, large and small format printing, sign marking, engraving, mounting, and laminating. Deliver high-quality digital photography for accident investigations, building maintenance, events, award ceremonies, and photo-journalism, ensuring proper captioning for all images. Enter all services into NGA's online application via the Local Work Order Tool and submit products to the Graphic Design Lead Key Positions for review. Stay abreast of evolving software packages and design for digital presses. Requires Top Secret/SCI clearance, US citizenship, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Windows.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in the career field of and graphic design
- Must have detailed knowledge of the entire Adobe Creative Suite / Creative Cloud graphic design software package on a Windows platform
- Must currently hold a security clearance at the Top Secret/SCI level
- US Citizenship is a requirement for Security clearance at this location
- Must be able to lift up to 15 to 25 pounds
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
- Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
- Proper caption writing techniques shall be required for all photographs

- Shall stay abreast of new and potentially evolving software packages which may be useful for NGA in the future
