Job Summary
Design proposals, pitch decks, and pursuit materials while creating diagrams, infographics, and timelines that translate complex architectural information into clear visual stories. Support the Communications Director in producing publications, award submissions, and digital content for websites and social channels, ensuring consistent brand application across print, digital, and environmental applications. Manage layout, version control, and final production to meet tight deadlines, collaborating with project teams, business development, and external suppliers to deliver polished presentations and campaign assets.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional graphic design experience
- Portfolio that shows both concept development and strong production craft
- Post-secondary education in graphic design, communication design, visual communications, or a related discipline
- Equivalent experience to post-secondary education
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Experience creating clear, polished, client-facing presentations
- A strong foundation in typography
- A strong foundation in editorial layout
- A strong foundation in information design
- A strong foundation in brand application
- A strong foundation in visual storytelling
- Working knowledge of print production
- Working knowledge of file preparation
- Working knowledge of colour management
- Working knowledge of image optimization
- Working knowledge of digital accessibility
