Job Summary
Adapt existing master creative layouts into digital banners, social media assets, and print formats while ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and campaign objectives. Work with production teams to execute revisions based on feedback, maintain version control of adaptation files, and prepare final mechanicals for release. Conduct quality assurance checks and apply client corrections with precision to meet production specifications and deadlines. Collaborate closely with Art Directors, project managers, and traffic teams to clarify adaptation needs and deliver high-quality assets across multiple media platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- 2+ years of experience in graphic design with a focus on production and adaptation work
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator)
- Knowledge of file setup for print, digital and social formats
- Understanding of layout principles, typography, and visual hierarchy
- Strong organizational and version control skills
- Ability to follow instructions and execute with precision
- Complete understanding of: Color theory and color relationships
- Complete understanding of: Typographic terms that identify type forms and the specifications required to refer to typographic settings (i.e., points, leading, picas, kerning, tracking, cap-height, x-height etc.)
- Complete understanding of: Perspective and space relationships
- Complete understanding of: Page composition and grid structures
- Complete understanding of: Print production process, knowledge of production techniques, and correct disking procedures
- Complete understanding of: Photography and the photographic process
- Demonstrated ability to: Communicate thorough knowledge of assigned product(s)
- Demonstrated ability to: Provide effective direction at photo shoots
- Demonstrated ability to: Effectively check and approve work on press
- Demonstrated ability to: Effectively collect electronic materials for output
- Demonstrated ability to: Effectively handle multiple assignments at one time
- Demonstrated ability to: Manage challenging situations both internally and with the client
- Must be able to sit and work at a desk for extended periods
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays & weekends should it be asked
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working in an advertising agency or in-house creative team preferred
- Familiarity with online proofing tools and workflow systems a plus
