Job Summary
Graphic Designer Intern tasks include crafting motion graphics and ensuring solid implementation by software engineers, designing desktop/tablet UI, gathering and evaluating user requirements with engineers and stakeholders, illustrating ideas with mockups, providing feedback during implementation to ensure cohesive user experience, and regularly collaborating with the Creative Director and Creative Operations team to maintain cohesive design and UX across the digital product. The role requires a portfolio demonstrating graphic design, proficiency with design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and Adobe Creative Suite), familiarity with Captivate and Unity-based workflows, and the ability to iterate on brand standards as part of a cross-disciplinary team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree (or currently enrolled and working towards one) in Graphic Design or related field
- Working knowledge and skill in design tools, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects, and/or other Adobe Creative Suite products
- Prototyping tools like Sketch, Figma, Balsamiq (or similar)
- Excellent communication skills across audiences at various levels
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with other designers and developers to implement ideas
- Currently holds an active U.S. national security clearance or be able to receive and maintain one
