Job Summary
Graphic Design Instructor (Sessional Faculty) at LaSalle College Vancouver to teach Graphic Design courses, develop curriculum, mentor students, manage classroom activities, assess student work, and ensure compliance with program standards. The role requires a Master’s Degree in design or related discipline and at least 3 years of related experience, with strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft Office 365. Responsibilities include academic leadership, curriculum development, teaching multiple sections per term, supervising student learning in internships or field experiences where applicable, participating in faculty development, and contributing to program quality and compliance. The position is in-person on the Vancouver, BC campus with hourly pay.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in design or another related discipline
- Minimum of 3 years related and increasingly responsible experience in Academics or industry
- Educational /teacher training or advanced certification preferred
- Excellent computer literacy skills and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud especially Photoshop, Illustrator & InDesign and Microsoft Office 365
