Job Summary
Design compelling and accessible visual content for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, including brochures, postcards, invitations, reports, digital signage, social media assets, infographics, presentations, proposals, and posters. Execute art direction, iterate designs based on feedback, and ensure materials reflect appropriate brand identity. Act as responsible party for assigned jobs, preparing final files for both digital and print production while coordinating with vendors. Manage multiple time-sensitive assignments, track time accurately, and communicate professionally with clients and colleagues. Work part-time for 15 hours weekly in 7.5-hour shifts at a rate of $37.80/hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field
- at least 2 years experience as a graphic designer
- print and digital design experience
- Strong knowledge of graphic design fundamentals
- awareness of current trends in graphic design
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to work on Mac platform
- Familiarity with Canva and Dropbox
- Excellent organization skills
