Job Summary
Create page layouts for promotional materials using Adobe Creative Cloud software, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. Produce flyers, bookmarks, brochures, posters, and web graphics while preparing design files for printing presses or digital printers. Maintain project lists in the Community Relations Portal, organize work schedules based on deadlines, and produce signage for all libraries. Assist with production support tasks such as laminating, foamcore mounting, point-of purchase displays, and preparing bi-annual mailings. Travel to various libraries and programs to collect video footage for social media and website projects. Attend staff meetings and continuing education workshops while adhering to core values and library guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate or Associates Degree in Graphic Design
- One-year experience graphic design
- One-year experience using InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator
- Ability to produce accurate, grammatically correct written communication
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to move 25 lbs. unassisted
- Independent transportation for travel to libraries, programs, and outreach locations
