Job Summary
Research funding opportunities across federal, state, local, foundation, and corporate sources to build a robust grant pipeline and maintain a comprehensive submissions tracker. Develop and submit high-quality letters of inquiry, proposals, budgets, and supporting materials while coordinating cross-departmental efforts to define scope and prepare accurate narratives. Administer awarded grants by monitoring deliverables, expenditures, and milestones to ensure compliance with funder guidelines and organizational policies. Maintain strong relationships with grantmakers and community partners, track trends to advise leadership on strategic pursuits, and support audit readiness through organized records retention.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- Three to five years of progressively responsible experience in grant research, proposal writing, grants administration, development, or a related role
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree or specialized coursework/certification in grant writing, fundraising, or nonprofit management
- Grant Professional Certification (GPC) or similar credential
- Demonstrated success securing funding from foundation, corporate, local, state, and/or federal sources
- Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal development
- Experience preparing supporting documentation and budgets
- Experience maintaining grant calendars
- Experience managing post-award reporting requirements
