Job Summary
Identify, research, and pursue federal, state, local, and private grant opportunities aligned with Boone Memorial Health's mission. Manage the complete grant lifecycle, including proposal development, award administration, compliance, reporting, and closeout. Prepare compelling grant applications, narratives, budgets, and supporting documentation while coordinating with department leaders, Finance, and external partners to meet deadlines and deliverables. Monitor grant budgets, expenditures, and compliance with applicable regulations. Maintain organized grant records, tracking systems, and reporting calendars. Serve as the primary liaison between the organization, funding agencies, and external consultants. Develop and improve grant administration processes and internal controls. This role supports innovative healthcare initiatives and expands patient services within a collaborative environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Public Health, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Three to five years of experience managing and/or writing federal, state, and private foundation grants
- Experience with grant compliance, reporting, and post-award administration
- Strong grant writing, project management, and organizational skills
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of federal grant requirements, including Uniform Guidance (2 CFR Part 200)
- Experience with Grants.gov, SAM.gov, or other grant management systems
- Grant Professional Certification (GPC) or Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS), or willingness to obtain
