Job Summary
Grants Management Specialist to support extramural grant lifecycle activities (intake, evaluation, award, close-out) at NIH, with on-site responsibilities in Bethesda, MD or Baltimore, MD. Responsibilities include providing administrative guidance to NIH staff and grantee representatives, maintaining complete documentation per NIH/HHS policies, coordinating with Program Officers, grantees, and sponsored research administrators, conducting regulatory reviews for compliance, reviewing applications and budgets for completeness and allowability, processing grant awards/amendments/supplements, monitoring grant portfolios for terms and funding limits, resolving grant-related issues, maintaining NIH grants-system records (e.g., IMPAC II), and generating reports on funding status and workloads. Requires a Bachelor’s degree, at least two years of grants-related or administrative experience, ability to obtain/maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust, and strong organizational and communication skills. Salary range $65,000-$108,000 annually; Guidehouse benefits include comprehensive compensation and a broad benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least TWO (2) years of grants-related or administrative experience
- Experience supporting or coordinating processes requiring regulatory compliance and detailed documentation
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust
