Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive grant writing and proposal management for foundations, corporations, and government entities, including researching funding opportunities, vetting Requests for Proposals, and drafting narrative responses and budgets. Supervise grant writers, volunteers, and interns while coordinating internal application processes, managing document submissions, and facilitating communications with funder officers. Maintain detailed schedules for interim and final reports, ensure accurate data entry into SharePoint, and serve as a liaison during bidder conferences and negotiations. Requires a Bachelor's degree with two years of grant writing experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software, and a valid Florida driver's license. This role supports the Development team within the Diocese of Orlando, aligning with Catholic Social Teaching and the mission of Catholic Charities of Central Florida.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree
- At least two (2) years of grant writing
- Experience with social service programs
- Exceptional writing, analytical, and researching skills
- Proficiency with computer and technical/web skills
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
- Experience working with Word
- Experience working with Excel
- Experience working with Adobe Pro
- Experience working with PowerPoint
- Experience with Web-Based Project Management Software
- A valid Florida drivers' license
- A clean driving record
- An appreciation and respect for the Catholic Church and its teachings
- An understanding of, and a commitment to Catholic values and support the tenants of Catholic Social teaching
