Job Summary
Write and coordinate high-quality grant proposals and reports while researching new funding opportunities and prospective funders. Maintain the grants database, dashboards, and grant calendar, then track proposal, submission, and reporting deadlines. Collaborate with programs and leadership teams to gather information for applications, maintain organizational documents, and present funding opportunities at team meetings. Support state charitable registrations and represent MCC at community events and fundraisers as needed. This role reports to the Director of Grants and Foundation Relations within a hybrid environment.
Required Qualifications
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Strong research and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Proficiency with databases and Microsoft Office applications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent life experience
- 1-3 years of nonprofit experience
- grant writing experience
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with fundraising software such as Salesforce
- Experience in maternal health, child health, public health, or related nonprofit work
