Job Summary
Identify and monitor Commonwealth, State, and philanthropic funding opportunities to develop and manage an organisation-wide grants pipeline. Lead end-to-end grant application processes, preparing compelling submissions, budgets, and supporting documentation while coordinating reporting, financial acquittals, and compliance with funding agreements. Maintain grant registers, reporting systems, and compliance frameworks, and oversee the Policy and Procedure review framework and document control processes. Manage Partnership Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding registers and renewal processes, providing strategic reporting and advice to the Executive Management Team on funding opportunities, risks, and performance. Build strong relationships with government agencies, funding bodies, and internal stakeholders to maximise funding success.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business, Finance, Public Administration, Project Management, Health or a related discipline
- Demonstrated experience managing grant programs from application through to reporting and acquittals
- Proven experience preparing high-quality grant submissions and funding proposals
- Strong project management and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities
- Excellent written communication skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Experience developing project budgets and coordinating financial reporting
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word and Excel
- The ability to build productive relationships across diverse stakeholder groups
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within the not-for-profit, health, government or Aboriginal Community Controlled Health sectors
