Job Summary
Review government Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for workforce development programs including WIOA, TANF, and One-Stop Operators. Collaborate with a team to write and edit full proposals based on RFP requirements while communicating with program staff to update proposal information. Conduct research on best practices, workforce development trends, local demographics, and community needs. Research new grant opportunities from government and non-government sources to ensure quality accuracy and completeness of all submitted proposals. Design and create graphics as needed for proposals and social media. Report to the Development Director.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-year degree
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Ability to work highly collaboratively with a team of grant writers
- Ability to work creatively and adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines
- Must be detail-oriented and highly organized
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant studies
- Graphic design and marketing skills
- Experience with Canva or Photoshop
- Familiarity with Monday.com, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint
- Understanding of workforce development, employment services, and adult education
- Passion for working with special and at-risk populations, including but not limited to public assistance recipients, justice-involved individuals, persons with mental and/or physical disabilities, military veterans, and individuals experiencing homelessness
