Job Summary
Research federal, state, and private foundation funding to summarize findings for leadership. Develop high-impact proposals, bid responses, and reports aligned with funder requirements and agency standards. Coordinate with finance and program teams to create budgets, track expenditures, and generate required program reporting. Submit applications via electronic platforms and maintain grant files per policy. Communicate deliverables with internal stakeholders and support funder site visits. Adhere to agency approval processes and quality management standards.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- Stellar writing skills
- Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, human services preferred, and/or related experience
- A minimum of 2-3 years grant writing experience preferred
- Experience with the development of federal and State of RI proposals preferred, including uploading application materials through their systems
- Ability to work occasional (not regular) nights and weekends preferred
- Strong project and time management skills preferred
