Job Summary
Write, edit, and prepare competitive grant proposals, reports, letters of inquiry, and concept papers while researching prospective opportunities aligned with agency priorities. Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to strengthen applications and demonstrate program impact. Collaborate with program leaders, finance, and data teams to gather content, develop outcome statements, and ensure submissions meet funder requirements. Manage a portfolio of assigned funders by tracking deadlines, coordinating submissions, and maintaining accurate compliance records. Prepare interim, annual, and final reports along with impact summaries and stewardship communications for funders. Maintain proposal templates, support internal review workflows, and contribute to shared knowledge resources and process improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Public Administration, Nonprofit Management, Business, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Education, or a related field
- Five (5) years of experience in grant writing, proposal development, and/or grants management
- Demonstrated experience developing successful grant proposals and reports
- This job is classified as a 'safety-sensitive' position as defined by the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana and Patient Protection Act. Due to the 'safety-sensitive' classification, an employee in this position would be subject to drug and alcohol testing, including random testing. Marijuana is one of the substances included in the drug panel screening. Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Experience with government, foundation, and corporate grant applications preferred
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, human services, education, or nonprofit organizations preferred
- Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Grant Professional Certification (GPC), or other grant-related designation preferred
- Experience using databases, grant management systems, SharePoint, or CRM platforms preferred
