Job Summary
Grant Writer responsible for writing fundraising materials to secure grants and contracts to sustain CPC's $68 million annual budget. Collaborates with the development team and program staff to prepare proposals, reports, budgets, and attachments aligned with RFP requirements; conducts research on funding opportunities and donor prospects; writes articles and donor communications; manages submission processes for NYC, NYS, federal grants, and private portals; supports fundraising administration, deadlines, and progress tracking; emphasizes clear, accessible writing across diverse audiences and languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, Spanish a plus) and contributes to the organization’s mission across CPC’s 60+ programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- One to two years’ experience in fundraising, development, journalism, technical writing, grant writing or equivalent experience
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
