Job Summary
Grant Writer for Chief Seattle Club responsible for researching, writing, and managing both public and private grant applications to support programs, capital projects, and services. Focus areas include Permanent Supportive Housing; coordinate with program staff, leadership, and partners to develop need statements, objectives, and evaluation criteria; manage internal grant resources, timelines, and reporting, including invoicing and contract negotiations. Requires budgeting, data management, research protocols, and compliance with funder requirements, plus strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and collaboration skills to support a growing grants portfolio.
Required Qualifications
- HS Diploma or AA preferred
- Minimum of two years’ experience in research, grant development, and proposal writing
- Proven experience in planning and managing large, complex projects
- Experience working with American Indian, Alaskan Native, and First Nations people and organizations is required
