Job Summary
Grant Specialist coordinates and manages the financial and compliance aspects of grants for PRCI and affiliated entities. Responsible for tracking grant-funded programs, budgeting, reporting, invoicing, reimbursement requests, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and Tribal requirements. Collaborates with program staff and Finance Director to support grant budgets, monitor expenditures, and maintain documentation; serves as a central resource for grant-related financial processes, reporting, and compliance to align grant funding with organizational goals. Also supports audit preparation and provides guidance on allowable costs and reporting expectations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in grant management, financial administration, or related field
- Experience working with grant-funded programs and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of budgeting, financial tracking, and reporting
- Ability to interpret grant agreements, regulations, and funding requirements
- Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and financial systems
- Ability to manage multiple grants and deadlines simultaneously
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Must be able to pass a background investigation
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record
