Job Summary
Conduct financial administration functions including expenditure review and reimbursement processing while monitoring Federal award closeout actions in USAID's grants and financial management system. Collaborate with Agreement Officers, legal counsel, and grant recipients to ensure compliance with USAID and U.S. Government regulations during termination processes. Compose closeout letters, verify accuracy of financial reports submitted by recipients, and track de-obligation of Federal funds to maintain completeness of grants files. Perform final reviews of completed awards and required reports to make recommendations to the AO. Work on-site three days per week in the Washington DC area.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in US government grant management
- At least 1 year of experience terminating grants
- Experience negotiating final award budgets
- No USAID experience
- Security Clearance
- Public Trust
