Job Summary
Grant Manager at TUTS, reporting to the Chief Philanthropy Officer, responsible for securing over $1 million annually by researching prospects, developing proposals and reports, drafting correspondence, and tracking deadlines. The role requires strong writing, organizational and project management skills, with duties including developing annual cultivation plans, managing moves management in Tessitura, writing proposal requests and reports, budgeting collaboration with Finance, maintaining an annual grant calendar, ensuring compliance with grant requirements, and identifying new funding opportunities while maintaining relationships with foundations and government funders. The position emphasizes writing quality, funding strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to sustain and grow funding for organizational programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of grant writing experience with demonstrated success securing funding
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Experience with foundation research and prospecting tools
- Tessitura experience preferred
- Must be able to work weekends and evenings as needed
- Experience in Windows/Microsoft 365 products, including Word and Excel
