Job Summary
Grant Manager for a nonprofit agency overseeing federal Title III grant-funded programs in the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging. Responsible for planning, administration, and compliance, coordinating procurement and contracting processes, developing organizational policies to support compliant grant operations, maintaining relationships with funded partners, and providing technical expertise in RFP creation, review, and evaluation. Requires building and monitoring program compliance with federal/state requirements, and strong communication and organizational skills to support aging services and underserved populations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Services, Gerontology, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's Preferred)
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in grant or contract management, nonprofit operations, project management, compliance, policy development, or a related area
- Knowledge of federal grant regulations and Title III program requirements
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of compliance and regulatory frameworks
- Experience with contract management and subrecipient monitoring
- Experience supporting or managing RFPs or procurement processes
- Excellent communication, writing, and organizational skills
- Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and grant reporting systems
- Experience working with diverse, underserved, and rural populations
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
- Preferred qualifications include experience with federal/state/foundation grant compliance and reporting requirements
