Job Summary

Provide end-to-end grant management expertise to optimize resources and ensure donor-funded projects align with approved designs and standards. Oversee implementation progress to deliver results and reports on time, within budget, and in compliance with donor requirements. Design reporting processes that communicate results and incorporate lessons learned to strengthen future grant execution. Synthesize project progress, risks, and learning for internal and external stakeholders while coordinating workloads and contributing to knowledge sharing. Apply Results-Based Management approaches to track objectives and support assessments, surveys, and monitoring systems. Collaborate with finance and legal teams to negotiate contracts and monitor financial performance, flagging risks requiring corrective action. This role supports World Vision Canada's strategic priorities of Impact, Income, and Influence through remote, cross-functional collaboration. International travel is required approximately once per year.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in international development, community/social development, business development, or a related field
  • 5–7 years of demonstrated experience managing or advising on institutional donor-funded international grants and projects
  • Strong experience applying Results-Based Management approaches and designing or supporting Monitoring & Evaluation systems
  • Proven experience supporting or coordinating remote, cross-functional, and cross-cultural teams delivering development projects
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information clearly for diverse audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly in reviewing project documentation and providing high-quality technical feedback
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across organizational boundaries and cultures to support alignment with strategic priorities
  • Ability to manage multiple streams of work simultaneously with sound judgment, initiative, and confidence
  • Availability and willingness to travel internationally as required (approximately once per year), including to higher-risk environments
  • Commitment to the core values and mission of the World Vision partnership

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience engaging with academic and/or research partners is an asset
