Job Summary
Analyze budgets, review expense reports and invoices from sub-awardees, and process reimbursement claims to ensure accurate reporting and timely spend-down of grant funds. Perform account reconciliations, prepare expenditure reports for submission to the Grantor and Central Office, and generate final close-out reports and financial forecasts. Review Time and Effort Attestations and progress reports to verify deliverables align with reported expenditures, while serving as a liaison between Finance, the Special Pathogens Department, and funding agencies. Manage PeopleSoft procurement requests and provide technical training to sub-recipients. Maintain accurate documentation for audits and comply with grantor and HHC policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of the grant application process
- Experience and knowledge of the budgeting process, including creating, analyzing, and modifying, etc., a budget
- Experience and knowledge of PeopleSoft HR and Procurement
- Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel reporting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (BAcc), Business Administration (BBA), Science (BS), or Art (BA)
