Job Summary
Review and monitor grant expense report submissions and invoices from sub-awardees to ensure accurate reporting and timely spend-down of award funds. Track budgets, verify fund availability, process reimbursement claims, and perform account reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and final close-out expenditure reports for submission to the Grantor and Central Office. Serve as a liaison between Finance, the Special Pathogens Department, and sub-awardees to facilitate communication and ensure policy compliance. Provide technical assistance to sub-recipients and manage PeopleSoft procurement requests. Review Time and Effort Attestations and progress reports to verify deliverables align with reported expenditures. This contract role supports Bellevue Health System's grant programs, with a potential conversion to full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of the grant application process
- Experience and knowledge of the budgeting process, including creating, analyzing, and modifying, etc., a budget
- Experience and knowledge of PeopleSoft HR and Procurement
- Experience and knowledge of the Microsoft Suite with an emphasis on Excel reporting
- Bachelor's degree in accounting (BAcc), Business Administration (BBA), Science (BS), or Art (BA)
