Job Summary
Grant Coordinator for Victim Services at the Indiana Criminal Justice Institute (ICJI). Responsible for high-level grant development, coordination, and administration, including monitoring state and federal funding streams secured by subgrantees, serving as a subject-matter expert on the Grants Management system, reviewing and scoring grant applications, coordinating timelines for state/federal applications and program reports, collaborating with grantees on revisions to ensure accurate budgets, SMART goals, and required attachments, processing applications through the contract management system, monitoring reports for reimbursement, maintaining records, providing training on policies and procedures, and ensuring grantees comply with applicable federal/state regulations. The role supports victims services grants and related programs within Indiana, with salary starting at $42,900 and comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Three years of work experience in grant programs, program planning, public administration and related fields applying the outlined knowledge, skills, and abilities in a similar role
- Advanced knowledge of grants, the grant application process, and rules and regulations pertaining to grants applicable to assigned programs
- Ability to interpret and apply grant rules, regulations, and procedures
- Effective communication skills
