Job Summary
Manage grant financials through budgeting, reporting, and analysis while ensuring compliance with regulations, GAAP, and internal policies. Collaborate with staff to develop budgets, monitor activity in accounting software, and audit data to correct errors. Submit timely financial reports to government agencies, review contractor agreements, and prepare information for annual Single Audits. Supervise the Budget Coordinator and Accounting Specialist, facilitate department training, and assist with updating financial policies. Maintain positive relationships with internal and external customers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field with an accounting concentration
- Minimum of three years of experience in accounting and business administration
- Work is performed in an office cubicle environment and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment
- Must be able to move short distances, exert up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Must have proficient computer and technical skills, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and the Internet
- Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, provide proof of insurance, and successfully pass a motor vehicle record review annually
- Must successfully pass a background check, including criminal history and Central Registry clearance, at the time of hire and when requested at any time during employment
- Must comply with the Agency's smoke-free and drug-free policies
