Job Summary
Prepare six monthly menus based on feedback from catering staff, managers, and regional managers, then cook all meals on site at the nursery. Support and guide catering staff while assisting the Nursery Manager in recruitment and selection. Monitor catering standards to maintain the highest levels of practice, audit kitchens to ensure compliance with TCC and PSN, and verify that all kitchen paperwork is complete and accurate. Establish professional working relationships with Nursery staff and gain feedback on final products. This role offers flexible working options, including 16 to 40 hours per week, with a salary range of £12.71 to £14.45 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Enhanced DBS check
- Cook all meals on site at the Nursery
- Prepare 6 monthly menus
- Monitor catering standards to maintain the highest levels of practice
- Audit kitchens in a timely fashion, ensuring they meet TCC and PSN
- Check that all kitchen paperwork is fully complete, accurate and up to date
