Grand Prairie, TX — 7th Science Teacher responsible for delivering differentiated, standards-based science instruction aligned with district policy and curriculum, utilizing research-based strategies to promote student achievement; designs engaging lesson plans, implements district curriculum, maintains a conducive classroom environment, and collaborates with ESL, SpEd, TAG, and RTI teams to support at-risk or special-needs students; provides whole and small group instruction, tutoring as needed, and timely feedback on student performance; maintains data-based documentation of progress and communicates with stakeholders; requires Bachelor's degree and Texas teacher certification with ESL certification; 185-day work calendar with a 62,000 USD starting salary plus commensurate experience; duties include collaboration, assessment design, and participation in staff development; demonstrates ability to interpret safety rules, write routine reports, and communicate effectively; complies with district policies and confidentiality; involvement in extracurricular activities as part of school community.
Required Qualifications
