Job Summary
Contract Manager responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, and completion of a utility locating project in Grand Forks and Fargo, ND, with relocation to Grand Forks. Will supervise field staff, train, uphold safety standards, manage budgets and client relationships, coordinate route schedules, invoicing, payroll and employee status changes, produce production reports, and perform staff management duties including performance evaluations and coaching. Requires Underground Utility Locating Experience and 3+ years of supervising large projects; valid driver’s license; Meter-Pro test; ability to travel/locate addresses via maps and handheld devices; strong organizational and communication skills; willingness to relocate to Grand Forks with relocation package offered; equal opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Must have previous Underground Utility Locating Experience
- Three (3) or more years’ experience supervising/managing people and largescale projects
- Valid Driver’s License required, will be provided company vehicle
- Must pass Meter-Pro test
- Ability to walk route, which includes stairs and unpaved/rough terrain areas
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office and the ability to retrieve and enter information into a handheld device or computer database
- Ability to read, writes, and follows and completes written instructions
