Job Summary
Grains & Oilseeds Market Analyst responsible for building and maintaining CiS supply and demand views and balance sheets across grains and oilseeds, forecasting Russian production and oilseed crops, organizing crop tours, coordinating with analysts and traders, and communicating market intelligence to Geneva traders and global teams. Requires deep knowledge of Russian commodity production, 5+ years in commodity research (grains/oilseeds), fluent Russian, strong quantitative/qualitative analysis, advanced Excel (Power BI a plus), and ability to turn signals into actionable conclusions; travel to crop tours encouraged. Hybrid work available; location in Istanbul (TR).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in commodity research (ideally grains/oilseeds)
- deep knowledge of Russian commodity production practices
- fluent Russian language
- advanced Excel and statistics skills (Power BI optional)
- ability to forecast production volumes and assess S&D
- experience communicating results to traders and stakeholders
- willingness to travel for crop tours
