Job Summary
Load and unload trucks and rail cars, fill and reclaim grain ground piles, and perform various grain handling tasks. Maintain equipment and ensure facility operations run smoothly while providing customer service and engaging with team members. Adhere strictly to all safety policies and procedures to keep the work environment safe and clean. Work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions, including heat, cold, dust, and loud noise, while wearing required PPE. This seasonal role involves lifting up to 50 lbs and working in elevated areas, with a typical shift from 8am to 8pm. Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship and be 18 years or older.
Required Qualifications
- Eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- 18 years or older
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
