Job Summary
Unload and load trucks, weigh, sample, and test grain for quality, and transport grain off farms for local deliveries. Operate tractors, semi-trucks, loaders, and conveyors while maintaining grain handling equipment and general facility housekeeping. Monitor inventory quality, observe OSHA and safety regulations, and provide customer service to patrons. Work extended hours during peak seasons, lift 75lbs., and climb ladders or rail cars. Requires Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, DOT physical, and data entry skills. Agriculture background preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements
- Insurable driver
- DOT required physical
- Drug test
- Ability to operate tractors, semi's, grain trucks, loaders, and conveyors
- Computer and data entry skills
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to effectively communicate with others
- Ability to lift 75lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders and/or rail cars, stairs, and bins
- Ability to work in grain dust
- Ability to work during inclement weather
- Ability to perform all physical requirements of the position
