Grain Inspector - Part-time

Job Summary

Conduct grain sampling, probing, and testing using visual procedures and computerized equipment to evaluate moisture, foreign material, damage, mycotoxins, and non-GMO status. Ensure proper sample flow through the facility and relay test results to client truck drivers while acting as a liaison between the facility and client merchandisers. Maintain accurate records, process necessary paperwork, and assist in training new inspectors on USDA grain standards and industry practices. Operate required lab equipment in a clean, safe environment while adhering to health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • Reliable transportation

Desired Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0-3 years' experience
  • Fluent in Microsoft suite programs (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
