Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day grain-operations at Cahokia river facility; supervise location staff; manage safety program, budget planning, staffing, quality audits, and coordination of barge/rail/grain movements; ensure OSHA compliance and environmental controls; develop location benchmarks and improvement plans; provide leadership and coaching to staff; collaborate with management to ensure profitability and customer service; participate in trainee programs and handle diverse operational duties; travel up to 15% as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Education Required - Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent training and work experience
- Preferred - Bachelor's degree in Agriculture or Technical Systems Management
- Experience Required - 3 years' experience in various sides of the specific business unit
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities including OSHA, EPA, cargo handling, budgeting, leadership, communication, problem-solving
- Ability to work extended hours, weekend, holidays and/or alternate shifts as needed
- Ability to travel up to 15%
