Job Summary
Load and unload trucks, operate grain dryers, and receive and grade grain. Use forklifts, bobcats, trucks, and automated systems while performing routine maintenance checks and repairs on machinery. Conduct monthly silo inventory, manage scale weights, and maintain the elevator, grounds, and warehouse, including assisting with silo cleanouts. Provide year-round customer service support. This seasonal position runs from now through December.
Required Qualifications
- Comfortable with computer/digital technology
- An understanding of electrical panels
- Physically fit to climb heights
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- A general knowledge and skills required to safely operate straightforward plant equipment, and/or machinery
- Full G driver's license
- Conversational English skills, with the ability to follow posted safety rules and safe operating procedures; write and make accurate reporting entries, comprehend simple instructions
- Employment may be contingent upon receipt of an acceptable and job-related background check, motor vehicle report, and/or reference check
