Job Summary
The Graduation Support Specialist plays a crucial role in increasing graduation rates and reducing absenteeism by collaborating with school staff and community partners to identify at-risk students, develop individualized graduation plans, monitor attendance, analyze data, and organize programs that support student engagement and ensure students meet graduation requirements. Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing graduation and attendance data, preparing reports to track program effectiveness, coordinating mentoring and tutoring, developing attendance- and graduation-focused interventions, organizing events to celebrate milestones, and staying current on best practices to improve graduation outcomes. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, or a related field (teacher certification preferred), experience in education or student support, strong organizational and communication skills, data analysis proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with students, families, staff, and community partners.
