Graduation Coach (10 month position)

Job Summary
Analyze data to identify high school students at risk of dropping out and develop strategies to engage them in learning. Create and track individual graduation plans while identifying barriers to completion and resolving issues with faculty, parents, and guardians. Facilitate career choices, connect students with mentors and community resources, and provide training to teachers on support measures for at-risk youth. Develop transition programs between middle and high schools, conduct quarterly vertical team meetings, and implement intervention strategies to increase graduation rates. Submit reports as scheduled and participate in ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, training, subject field, curriculum or related content area
- A valid Tennessee certificate in Teaching, Service (School Counseling, School Psychology, and/or School Social Work), and/or Leadership Knowledge
- Five (5) years of successful counseling/teaching experience
