Job Summary
The School of Engineering and Engineering Technology at UA Little Rock seeks a Graduate Teaching Assistant for the Spring 2023 semester to support the BS in Mechanical Engineering program. Responsibilities include grading undergraduate courses, teaching support for laboratory courses, and providing engineering, design, and fabrication support for program facilities development. Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field and have regular admission into a graduate program at UA Little Rock, or be a senior in BSME with early entry admission into the MSME program. Proficiency in software such as Solidworks, Autocad, Ansys, Ansys Fluent, Python, and Matlab is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or closely equivalent/related field
- Regular admission into a graduate program at UA Little Rock, or senior student in BSME with early entry admission into the UA Little Rock MSME program
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in grading undergraduate courses
- Teaching experience in laboratory settings
- Proficiency in Solidworks, Autocad, Ansys, Ansys Fluent, Python, Matlab
