Job Summary

Guide graduate students in research design, instrumentation selection, and advanced statistical analysis including meta-analysis, regression, and ANOVA. Conduct individual consultations and online sessions to support thesis development and dissertation completion while ensuring accuracy of findings. Partner with faculty to deliver workshops, maintain the graduate statistics resource website, and submit weekly activity reports. Provide data interpretation and track student progress through detailed documentation. Evening hours may be required to accommodate student schedules. Fully remote workers must reside in California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, or Wisconsin.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or closely related field
  • Minimum three years of relevant work experience
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods such as Meta-analysis
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods such as Linear regression
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods such as T-tests
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods such as ANOVA
  • Extensive knowledge of statistical methods such as Chi-square tests
  • Statistical software expertise (R, SPSS, Jamovi, JASP)
  • Survey tools (Qualtrics)
  • Data analysis and visualization (Excel)
  • Productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace)
  • Strong independent work ethic with ability to collaborate effectively
  • Exceptional organizational and detail-management skills
  • Superior written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical thinking
  • Ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse audiences
  • Professional demeanor and strong interpersonal skills
  • Flexible schedule with remote as the primary option; on campus as needed
  • Evening hours may be required to accommodate graduate student schedules
