Job Summary
Deep dive into trading fundamentals, from theoretical concepts to financial markets, strategies, AI-enabled tools, and cutting-edge technology. Collaborate closely with best-in-class engineers, traders, and business teams to develop simple, well-architected solutions that meet the needs of the business while tackling complex, real-world problems. Participate in Optiver's comprehensive Global Academy over eight weeks, covering trading theory and the tech stack, and work alongside a dedicated mentor to take ownership of your work. On track to graduate between December 2026 and June 2027 with a degree in Computer Science or Engineering, proficient in C++, Python, or Java. Join a global team of scientists and engineers shaping how we understand and trade global markets.
Required Qualifications
- A student pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
- On track to graduate between December 2026 to June 2027
- Proficient in coding languages such as C++, Python, or Java
- A student with strong engineering instincts and a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals
