Job Summary
Graduate Silicon Engineer at Graphcore, contributing to the silicon design lifecycle across three teams (Logical design/DFT, Verification, and Physical Design). Role involves collaborating with Architectural, Verification, Physical & Operations teams to define microarchitecture and produce testable RTL, ensuring chips meet specifications, and carrying RTL-to-GDS workflows through synthesis, place and route, timing analysis, and power integrity. The position emphasizes learning modern ASIC/CPU verification methodologies, using industry-standard EDA tools, and gaining experience with advanced silicon design techniques in a fast-paced environment, with flexible working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- On track or achieved a 2:1 or above in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or related subject area
- Able to evidence technical skills in C/C++ or Python (2 or 3)
- A highly motivated, curious, self-starter, willing to take action, as proven through extra-curricular activities or hobbies beyond your studies
- Strong team-working and excellent interpersonal skills
- Passionate with a keen interest to learn about the exciting new field of AI
