Job Summary
Perform respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care across all patient populations. Administer respiratory therapies (oxygen, aerosol, airway management), implement patient-specific care plans, document care in the EMR, and may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Qualifications include State RCP license and NBRC RRT certification; associate or bachelor degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required. Relocation assistance available for candidates relocating from outside Illinois. Compensation estimated at $37.00–$49.80 per hour with shift differentials; full-time, non-exempt.
Required Qualifications
- State RCP License required
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC required
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Respiratory therapy in acute care setting experience preferred
- EMR documentation experience
- ability to administer therapies (oxygen, aerosol, airway management)
- ability to serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts (if applicable)
