Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – RCP II position in a high-acuity acute care environment within a large healthcare system. Provides respiratory therapy treatments, diagnostic services, and documentation in the EMR. Administers treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management), implements patient-specific care plans, and may serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts. Relocation assistance available for candidates relocating from outside Illinois. Compensation includes competitive pay with shift differentials; sign-on bonus information is provided. Requires RCP license and NBRC RRT certification; education preferable as Associate or BS degree. Location: Maywood, IL (Chicago metro).
Required Qualifications
- State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC certification
- Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree preferred
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
