Job Summary
The Graduate Research Assistant will assist in managing and coordinating SANE grant-related activities. Responsibilities include conducting research and data collection, ensuring IRB compliance, assisting in data analysis, supporting tool development, and contributing to manuscript writing. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree and maintain enrollment as graduate students, along with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Skills in various software applications and excellent interpersonal abilities are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Enrolled at least half-time, 3 credit hours per semester in a degree-seeking program
- Maintain a TAMIU overall GPA of 3.0 for graduate students
- Must meet all other requirements as stated in TAMIU’s Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy (SAPP)
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Qualtrics, Microsoft Forms, spreadsheets, and database applications
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Excellent interpersonal relationship and communication skills
- Problem analysis and problem-solving skills
- Ability to learn and use multiple software programs
Additional Requirements
- Must maintain a 3.0 TAMIU overall GPA for graduate students
- Position requires on campus, face-to-face interactions
- Must submit proof of graduation for final semester students
